Description

Hermès Média typewriter in pastel mint green, manufactured in Switzerland in the 1950s by Paillard. A legend in the world of mechanical typewriters, it was renowned at the time as one of the finest machines ever produced.

The typewriter has been fully restored in-house: complete cleaning, degreasing, and lubrication of the mechanisms. A new ribbon is included with the typewriter, ready for use upon receipt. A digital manual in PDF format (in English) is available upon request.

Made entirely of metal, it is remarkably sturdy. All mechanisms respond with precision, and the keystroke is smooth and pleasant. Aesthetically, it is simply a magnificent machine, in exceptional condition for its age. Its pastel mint green color shines, as elegant on a desk as it is in daily use.
