Hermes 3000 typewriter in sea green, made in Switzerland in 1968 by Paillard. One of the most emblematic portables the make ever produced, known for the precision of its engineering and the quality of its build. In this sea green finish with bright white keys, it has an elegance that is particularly sought after.

The machine has been fully restored in our workshop: thorough cleaning, degreasing, lubrication of the mechanisms, meticulous adjustment and a new two-colour ribbon fitted. It is ready to use the moment it arrives.

It is in excellent working order. The AZERTY keyboard is soft and pleasant under the fingers, and the impression is precise and smooth.

Please note: the right-hand platen knob shows wear from the years and is fragile, clearly visible in the photographs, with no effect on how the machine works.

It is at once a sought-after collector’s piece, an excellent writing tool and a superb piece of vintage decor, perfect for a desk, a bookcase or any interior with a confident retro style.

Sold with its original metal cover in the same shade, in very fine condition, together with its original instruction manual and a period advertisement — a rare and complete set that will delight the most demanding collectors.
