Erika 158 typewriter in white with black keys, made in East Germany in the 1980s. A much sought-after model, set apart from the Erika 150 by its tabulator function — a practical touch you appreciate day to day.

The machine has been fully restored in our workshop: thorough cleaning, degreasing and lubrication of the mechanisms. A new ribbon comes fitted, so it is ready to use the moment it arrives.

It writes beautifully and the impression is smooth and precise. The AZERTY keyboard is pleasant under the fingers, and every mechanism responds perfectly.

It is both an excellent writing tool and a superb piece of vintage decor, perfect for a desk or a living room with a confident retro style.

Sold with its original rigid leather carrying case, in excellent condition, together with its original instruction manual — a rarity that collectors particularly value.
