Description

Erika Model 9 typewriter, manufactured in Germany in 1953 by Seidel & Naumann. An iconic machine named in honor of the granddaughter of the company’s founder, Bruno Naumann—a detail that adds a human and historical dimension to this beautiful piece of machinery.

The typewriter has been fully restored in-house: complete cleaning, degreasing, and lubrication of the mechanisms. A new two-color ribbon is included with the typewriter, ready to use upon receipt.

Mechanically, it works perfectly; all mechanisms respond with precision. There are a few slight imperfections on the body, natural traces of its history, which only add to its character.

It is both an excellent writing instrument and a beautiful vintage collector’s item, a testament to post-war German craftsmanship. Sold with its carrying case in good condition. Please note: the handle is missing, as clearly visible in the photos.
