Description

Erika 5 typewriter in black, made in Germany in the 1950s. A legendary model, rare in such immaculate condition, whose glossy black body is quite simply magnificent.

The machine has been fully restored in our workshop: thorough cleaning, degreasing and lubrication of the mechanisms. A new ribbon comes fitted, so it is ready to use the moment it arrives.

It is in excellent working order. The AZERTY keyboard is soft and pleasant under the fingers, and every mechanism responds perfectly. It is fitted with a lovely script typeface, visible in the typing samples.

It is at once a rare collector’s piece, an excellent writing tool and a superb piece of vintage decor, perfect for a loft or any interior with a confident retro style.

Sold with its original carrying case. Please note: the handle of the case is missing, clearly visible in the photographs.
