Remington Portable Black Typewriter – QZERTY

Description

Black Remington Portable typewriter, made in the United States in 1921. An exceptional century-old piece, extremely rare in such clean condition, which perfectly embodies the mechanical elegance of the early twentieth century.

The typewriter has been fully restored in our workshop: thoroughly cleaned, degreased, and its mechanisms lubricated. A new ribbon is included, so it is ready to use as soon as it arrives.

It is in excellent working condition. Every key responds perfectly, the carriage runs smoothly and the typing is pleasant, with a beautiful script typeface visible in the photos. Its Italian QZERTY keyboard makes it a rare configuration, much sought after by collectors.

It is both a collector’s piece steeped in history and a superb piece of vintage decor that will leave no one indifferent.

Sold with its original wooden carrying case, in original condition but still functional; please handle it with care given its age. A digital manual in English is available on request.
