Japy Baby typewriter, manufactured in Switzerland in the 1970s by Paillard. A compact, iconic model designed for writers on the go, in an exceptionally rare configuration: cursive italic font—a true treasure for collectors.

The machine has been fully restored in-house: thoroughly cleaned, degreased, and the mechanisms lubricated. A new ribbon is included with the machine, ready to use upon receipt.

It is in absolutely impeccable condition, both mechanically and aesthetically. The casing is perfectly preserved, an extremely rare condition for a machine of this age.

Its cursive italic font is what makes it truly unique: this type of font is extremely rare on a Hermès Baby and makes this machine a collector’s item in its own right, very hard to find on the market.
