Japy Baby typewriter from 1967, produced in Switzerland by Paillard. An exceptional machine, prized by collectors and by anyone who loves to write. For those in the know, it is an exact counterpart of the Hermes Baby, sharing the same design and the same Swiss build quality.
The machine has been fully restored in our workshop: thorough cleaning, degreasing and lubrication of the mechanisms. A new two-colour ribbon comes fitted, so it is ready to use the moment it arrives.
Light and compact, it kept many writers and travellers company through the 1960s to the 1980s. Whether for writing letters, poetry, or simply rediscovering the pleasure of writing away from a screen, this Japy Baby offers a unique and authentic experience.
