Olivetti Studio 44 typewriter in grey, made in Spain in the 1950s. An emblematic model of Italian design, embodying the best of Olivetti’s craft with timeless elegance and remarkable build quality. In this grey finish, particularly rare on this model, it is a piece that is very hard to find on the market.
The machine has been fully restored in our workshop: thorough cleaning, degreasing and lubrication of the mechanisms. A new two-colour ribbon comes fitted, so it is ready to use the moment it arrives.
It is in excellent working order. The AZERTY keyboard is soft and pleasant under the fingers, every key responds perfectly and the carriage works without a hitch.
It is both an excellent writing tool for reconnecting with traditional writing and a superb piece of vintage decor, perfect for a desk or an interior with a confident retro style.
Sold with its magnificent original red leather carrying case, finished with a superb wooden handle — a set of rare elegance that makes this a truly exceptional piece.
