The ribbon you need
A new ribbon comes fitted with the machine. Keep a spare : it is always what runs out at the worst moment.
Description
Blue Contin typewriter, made in the United States by Remington for Contin, a Parisian company active in the early 1920s. An almost unique piece with a fascinating Franco-American history, extremely rare in such impeccable condition.
The typewriter has been fully restored in our workshop: thoroughly cleaned, degreased, and its mechanisms lubricated. A new ribbon is included, so it is ready to use as soon as it arrives.
It is in good working order. The AZERTY keyboard is smooth and clean, the typing is fluid and the carriage runs without a hitch. Its beautiful script typeface gives it a unique character, visible in the typing photos. Its deep blue colour makes it an instantly striking piece, ideal as an original gift for the love of your life.
It is an exceptional collector’s item and a superb piece of vintage decor, perfect for a loft or a boldly retro interior.
