Description

Sperry Remington TenTwenty (1020) typewriter in royal blue, made in Japan in the 1970s by Seiko. An intense, rare royal blue that makes it immediately striking and very hard to find on the market.

The machine has been fully restored in our workshop: thorough cleaning, degreasing and lubrication of the mechanisms. A new two-colour ribbon comes fitted, so it is ready to use the moment it arrives.

It is in excellent working order. The AZERTY keyboard is soft and pleasant under the fingers, the carriage is in perfect condition and the impression is smooth, in a lovely script typeface. A very agreeable machine to use day to day.

It is both an excellent working tool and a superb piece of vintage decor, perfect for a loft or an interior with a confident retro style.

Sold with its original carrying case, in good condition, despite a few scratches that bear witness to its history — clearly visible in the photographs.
