About the brand
Corona
The Corona 3, launched in 1912 in the United States, is the folding typewriter par excellence: its carriage folds over the keyboard to fit in a small case. It travelled with journalists and soldiers during the First World War. In 1926 Corona merged with L.C. Smith to become Smith-Corona.
These century-old machines call for patient restoration, which we carry out in our workshop: cleaning, mechanical overhaul, new ribbon and test. Each listing honestly describes the condition of the example.
