Brother, from Nagoya in Japan, entered the typewriter business in 1961 and produced light, sturdy and often colourful portables in the 1970s: orange, blue, green, white. The Brother 210, 220 and Deluxe are simple, pleasant machines, ideal for a first typewriter or for daily writing on a budget.
