Description
Green Hermès Baby typewriter, manufactured in Switzerland in 1967 by Paillard. Compact and lightweight, it is made from a plastic that was particularly sturdy for its time, combining remarkable solidity with intact vintage charm.
The typewriter has been fully restored in a workshop: it has been thoroughly cleaned, degreased, and the mechanisms have been lubricated. A new ribbon is included with the typewriter, so it’s ready to use as soon as you receive it.
It types very well, with smooth and precise keystrokes. Its cosmetic condition is good for its age, and it is well preserved overall. It is fitted with an Elite typeface. A digital PDF manual is available on request.
Please note: the right platen knob is missing, but this does not affect how well it works.
Sold with its original carrying case, in good condition.
