Description
Olivetti Studio 46 typewriter in turquoise blue, made in Spain in the 1970s. Born of a collaboration between great Italian designers, Mario Bellini among them, this machine perfectly embodies the creative, daring spirit of the decade’s design. Its brilliant turquoise blue makes it immediately recognisable and gives it a character all of its own.
The machine has been fully restored in our workshop: thorough cleaning, degreasing and lubrication of the mechanisms. A new two-colour ribbon comes fitted, so it is ready to use the moment it arrives.
It is in excellent working order. The AZERTY keyboard is soft and pleasant under the fingers, and the carriage works perfectly.
It is both an excellent writing tool and a superb piece of vintage decor, perfect for a desk, a large bookcase or any interior with a confident retro style.
Sold with its original black plastic carrying case. This is a fairly substantial machine, better suited to taking pride of place on a desk.
