Remington Rand Noiseless No. 7 Typewriter with User Manual – AZERTY

Description

Remington Rand Noiseless No. 7 typewriter, made in 1954. Its parts were produced in the United States and final assembly was carried out in France, a historical particularity that reflects Remington’s international reach at the time.

The typewriter has been fully restored in our workshop: thoroughly cleaned, degreased, and its mechanisms lubricated. A new ribbon is included, so it is ready to use as soon as it arrives.

It works perfectly. The AZERTY keyboard is smooth and pleasant under the fingers, and all the mechanisms respond precisely. True to its reputation, this Noiseless model stands out for its particularly quiet typing, a remarkable mechanical feat for its time.

Sold with its original wooden carrying case and its original user manual, a rarity much prized by collectors.
