Description

Olympia Splendid 66 typewriter in white and black, produced in 1970 by Olympia Werke AG in West Germany. A compact, elegant model with the clean design typical of the finest portables of the period.

The machine has been fully restored in our workshop: thorough cleaning, degreasing and lubrication of the mechanisms. A new ribbon comes fitted, so it is ready to use the moment it arrives.

It writes beautifully and the impression is smooth and pleasant. It is in very good overall condition. There is a slight dent on the front right-hand side, clearly visible in the photographs, with no effect on how it works or on its charm.

It is both an excellent writing tool and a handsome piece of vintage decor, perfect for a desk or a creative space with a retro feel.

Sold with its original carrying case. Please note: the case has a crack on the front right-hand side, clearly visible in the photographs.
