Olympiette De Luxe typewriter in white and black, made in Italy in the 1970s for Olympia. An elegant, understated model with the distinctly European design of the period — as discreet as it is refined. Compact and light, it is an ideal machine for a child or a young teenager discovering the pleasure of writing by hand on a typewriter.

The machine has been fully restored in our workshop: thorough cleaning, degreasing and lubrication of the mechanisms. A new two-colour ribbon comes fitted, so it is ready to use the moment it arrives.

It is in excellent working order. The AZERTY keyboard is soft and pleasant under the fingers, the carriage works perfectly and the impression is smooth, in a lovely script typeface.

It also has an automatic spacing function, switched on with the red button on the space bar — a genuine convenience day to day.

It is both a superb piece of vintage decor, perfect for a loft or an interior with a confident retro style, and an excellent, fully working writing tool.

Sold with its original black cover, in very good condition.
