About the brand

Rheinmetall

Rheinmetall built typewriters in Sömmerda, Thuringia, from the 1920s to the 1950s. Its portables, sober and well built, are typical of German engineering between the wars and after.

We restore them in our workshop: cleaning, typing adjustment, new ribbon and test before shipping. The keyboard (often QWERTZ) is stated on the listing.
