Description

Very old typewriter from 1953. From the famous Swiss brand Hermes, this rather imposing but very common model at the time became famous for its features. This machine therefore became very popular with secretaries in particular. Paillard production is well known for its reliable, high-quality models.

This Hermes 2000 works perfectly well; it has been completely overhauled and cleaned. A new ribbon has been installed and the machine is ready for use. Given its age, it has suffered some damage (see photos).

The keyboard is an AZERTY keyboard.

Its dark gray color and military green keyboard give it a sober and refined look for its time.
The carrying case is included with the sale, and the machine can be secured to it to prevent damage during transport.
