Description

Olympia Splendid typewriter in white and black, made in Italy in the late 1970s for Olympia. Compact, light and very pleasant to use, it is an ideal machine both for everyday writing and as a first encounter with the typewriter — perfect for a child or young teenager after an authentic, out-of-the-ordinary way of writing.

The machine has been fully restored in our workshop: thorough cleaning, degreasing and lubrication of the mechanisms. A new two-colour ribbon comes fitted, so it is ready to use the moment it arrives.

It is in excellent working order. The AZERTY keyboard is soft and pleasant under the fingers, and the carriage works perfectly. It is fitted with a lovely script typeface, visible in the typing samples.

Sold with its original black cover, in very good condition.
