Black Royal Commander Typewriter – AZERTY

Description

Royal Commander typewriter in black, made in the United States in the 1930s by the Royal Typewriter Company, one of the great American names in typewriters alongside Remington and Underwood.

The machine has been fully restored in our workshop: thorough cleaning, degreasing and lubrication of the mechanisms. A new black ribbon comes fitted, so it is ready to use the moment it arrives.

It is in very good working order and writes beautifully. The AZERTY keyboard is pleasant under the fingers, and the carriage and every key respond perfectly.

Please note: the front feet of the machine are missing, clearly visible in the photographs, with no effect on use.

Sold with its original carrying case in wood covered with paper, in fair condition, complete with its lock and its Bakelite handle. The key is not included.
